My Favourite Five with Cecilie Nachman

Interior designer Cecilie shares how she spends an ideal day with daughter Hannah and husband Ulrik – and her five favourite STUDIO MINI products

Hello Cecilie! Can you give us a short introduction to yourself and your family?

“I’m 33 years old and live in Frederiksberg with my husband, Ulrik, and our one-year-old daughter Hannah. I just got back from maternity leave, and work as a project manager and interior designer at Nadia Olive Schnack.”

What does your ideal day look like?

“I love Sundays with no plans. We make pancakes for breakfast and go to the park so Hannah can roam free. Afterwards we find a place to get a cup of good coffee for the two tired grown-ups. Then perhaps a nice exhibition somewhere before we head home and have my husband’s homemade spaghetti for dinner. And then I most likely fall asleep on the couch at 8.45 PM...”

What is the best thing about motherhood in your eyes?

“That there’s a person that you love more than anything in the whole world and all the laughs. It’s also a good exercise for my ability to be patient and take things as they come.”

Where do you find most of your inspiration?

“Not very exotic, but Instagram and then travels. We spent a month in Sicily this spring and saw so many beautiful palazzos while eating the best almond granite.”

Please share your five favourite products from us?

“My husband reads for Hannah every night before she falls asleep. The Little Prince pop up book is a little bit advanced for her still – she would probably eat one of the pages – but I hope she will become more civilised in a few year’s time, haha!

What’s not to love about this piece – a tiny Liberace piano!

Hannah loves putting things into boxes so these suitcases would be a huge hit!

I think it will only be a few months before Hannah is ready for her first bike. This one is a favourite.

Hannah is actually a little bit of a late riser in the morning, so every now and then we can have a five-minute lie in. Would love to watch her sleep in this On Cloud Nine pyjamas.”

Thank you, Cecilie!
